Edmonton Criminal Lawyer: Jordan Titosky, B.A., J.D.
Jordan is a top criminal lawyer in Alberta, including representing people who need a Fort McMurray criminal lawyer. Jordan Titosky obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Alberta, Faculty of Law, in 2022. Upon graduation, Jordan articled at Liberty Law and was admitted to the Alberta Bar. Prior to law school, Jordan completed two other degrees at the University of Alberta. In 2014 he was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Option, with distinction and in 2018 he successfully defended his thesis and was granted a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
During law school, Jordan was dedicated to the practice of criminal defence work. He took specialized classes related to trial procedure, evidence, criminal law, and sentencing. Jordan also worked with the Student Legal Services (“SLS”) criminal project, where he was able to obtain hands-on, in-court experience for the duration of his degree. While working with SLS, Jordan assisted clients charged with criminal offences by handling their matters start to finish for offences such as impaired driving, mischief, assault, and thefts. This work was invaluable as he was able to learn from experienced lawyers that specialized in criminal defence and gave him the opportunity to hone his advocacy and trial skills. In his final year of law school, Jordan became one of the Coordinators for SLS and led a team of 11 law students who were focused on criminal defence work.
While articling, Jordan gained an immense amount of experience. He was able to assist with a variety of cases ranging from murders, sexual assaults, drug trafficking, and more. Jordan was able to assist with a client that had been charged with first degree murder. The client was ultimately found guilty of manslaughter, sentenced to a Conditional Sentence Order, and was allowed to serve their sentence on house arrest. This is why, whether you need a Fort McMurray criminal lawyer, Edmonton, Grande Prairie or elsewhere, Jordan is a great choice for a top defence.
While not in the office or at the courthouse, Jordan is an experienced football official with the Canadian Football League (“CFL”). Jordan was called to the CFL and officiated his first game in 2016. He has continued to work with them and will spend some evenings and weekends on the various fields across Canada. This work requires Jordan to interpret and apply the rules in a reasonable manner for the safety of the players, but more importantly, the enjoyment of the fans. This approach to rules applies not only to the gridiron but also to the courtroom. Jordan’s experience as an Edmonton criminal lawyer and in courts throughout Alberta allows Jordan to have a unique outlook on the law that he has used to successfully defend his clients and reduce sentences.
Jordan is an avid advocate who practices exclusively criminal defence work. If you have been charged with a Criminal Code, drug, regulatory, traffic or SafeRoads offence, Jordan would be happy to assist you.
