Our client was charged with luring, sexual assault and sexual interference. The client was encouraged to plead guilty by his initial lawyer before hiring Mr. LaValley. After a thorough review of disclosure, Mr. LaValley developed a trial strategy that involved calling numerous witnesses that could contradict the Complainant. The Complainant was cross-examined extensively on her police statement, and on her recollection of the events. After a 5 day trial, the Judge found the client not guilty of all charges.
