Our client was charged with sexual assault after a woman suffered an apparent psychiatric episode. Although she never alleged our client had sexually assaulted her, police made assumptions without evidence to support them. We pointed out the flaws in the police investigation to the prosecutor. After a complete review of the police file, the prosecutor withdrew the charges before our client was called upon to enter a plea.
