Our client was a youth charged with a sexual assault on an ex-girlfriend. The Complainant testified and was cross-examined extensively on her statement to the police. Numerous inconsistencies were revealed. The client testified and denied the allegation. The Judge found the client not guilty and indicated that he would not have convicted even if the client did not testify due to the issues revealed on cross-examination.
